Making exhaust louder

its a bolt on? i thought it would be a wield on? that is interesting lol

 

Mine isn't. 3 part setup: pipe, muffler, pipe-with-tip. Very convenient.

hmm i disagree... i put a flowmaster series super 44 and damn its loud! when i start it up its super throaty like an inboard boat motor then later its really loud from 2000-3500 rmps and i have a 99 3.4L

 

I have a 2000 Cherokee. I installed a flowmaster on it and it was hella loud...then i decided to go with a magnaflow...it's perfect. It's loud when it needs to be loud and sounds good on idle...I'd go with a flowmaster if you want loud...but then again, no experience with them on a tacoma.

 

I dumped my exhaust right after the muffler. Its louder outside and inside (not the reason I did it) but it bounces off the pavement or dirt so its a lot louder and has a different tone then before. 3 inch piping and a magnaflow muffler.

It sound a lot better before i routed the exhaust over the frame. I use to have the exhausts routed underneath the frame.

 

if u chopped it after after the muffler how would it bounce off the floor? cause wouldnt it just point straight out from under ur bed?

Why don't you cut the exhaust right after the last cat?
