    So, I was driving on a 70 mph road this weekend and a cow thought it was a good idea to walk out into the road as I was passing. Fortunately for me, I was able to veer enough that the passenger side took the brunt of the hit. And also I was going about 10 mph slower than the posted speed, which I'm sure saved me from some additional carnage. In addition, i'm lucky it was only a medium size cow and not a full grown adult or it may have totaled it. Truck just got dropped off at the body shop yesterday, so i'm still waiting on quotes and such. I don't think it will be totaled, but if so, I'm getting a 4x4 next :p. Airbag did its job - got out without a scratch or bruise.

    lol a new steel bumper was my first thought :). I think it's washer fluid, but i'm not sure. Everything on that side got pushed back pretty good

    Thanks. The cops took pics of the cow but I didn't get any. It left a good amount of hair on my truck though :p

    Lol free dinner for weeks!

    Not too well. The impact killed it and sent it flying into a ditch
