Making the leap...

Hello from the high mountains of the southwest. I recently sold my Land Cruiser and I'm in the market for a 3rd generation Tacoma. I'm more of a user than a builder, so I've been looking at a few with mods already done. However, I looked at a few that were overbuilt, overweight, and just too damn complex, so the mods I like are upgrades on suspension, a little armor, some built in recovery, and a rack system. I'm an avid skier and mountain biker and occasional and usually unsuccessful hunter (hiking with guns is what it works out to be). I've done a few expeditions in my LC but want to take it to the next level. Living in the Four Corners area makes things easy that way...

Open to any and all suggestions as to what a Taco needs, or doesn't, in terms of mods, and also to learning from all of you.
