    Hoping to keep this thread alive (Even though its already dead haha) and post my trip reports here. If you have any questions, feel free to post and ask. If theres anyone in the Vegas, Arizona, and SoCal area that ever wants to wheel or go camping, let me know. Been going alone or with my gf and wouldnt mind a buddy to go with.

    Specs:
    2001 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner TRD

    How I got it:
    Bone Stock with 103,000 miles
    Had rhino roll on the flares and bumper and a bed protector
    Had a diffferent grill
    2nd and probably final owner

    Plans:
    My goal is to make this as trail capable as possible. I am pretty limited on certain aspects since it is 2wd but hoping that won't hold me back to much.

    Modifications:
    All mods have been done by myself and with the help of my dad. All armor has also been custom made by myself and my dad.

    Engine:
    100% Stock
    Red top battery

    Suspension:
    Front:
    Camburg UCA
    Fox 2.0 Coilovers with remote resis
    Rear:
    Fox 2.0s with remote resis
    OME Dakar leaf pack

    Tires:
    33 x 11.5 General Grabbers
    Discount Tire Black Aluminum rims
    Full Size spare mounted in the factory location
    VIAIR 400P Portable Compressor Kit

    Interior:
    Kenwood Excelon
    Kenwood factory replacement speakers
    Kicker 8" CompRt sub with Kicker 1200 watt amp

    Recovery: All mounted in a Military Medical box in the bed or storage under the rear seats
    Tow strap (x2, One with hooks, one without)
    48" High lift
    Rotopax- 2 gallon gas and water
    Old Foldable Military Shovel

    Armor:
    Custom Tube Front bumper with led pods, turn signals, and 2 Hids (Based off SDHQ Tacoma Bumpers)
    Custom Tube Rear Bumper with Rigid Dust light
    Custom Tube Sliders/Steps
    Custom Bed Rack/RTT Rack with Hi-lift mount, shovel mount, and 2 Rotopax mounts

    Exterior Misc:
    CVT Mount Bachelor RTT with Annex
    All Chrome blacked out
    Removed/Moved misc badges
    Magnaflow Exhaust routed through the passenger bed side
    4Runner Front Mud Flaps mounted as rear mud flaps


    Plans:
    REPLACE THE GOD AWFUL SEATS (Have, waiting to be installed: Scion XB Seats)
    Mud Flaps (DONE)
    Fix Driver side door lock and replace factory remote clicker
    Recovery pads (Probably get first and save up for winch) (Ordered)
    Deep Cycle battery in bed
    Shower
    Rewire Dust light
    4Runner roof rack with fairing (Have, waiting to be installed)
    Skids?
    CB? (Have, waiting to be installed: Cobra 19 IV)
    Smitty Build 9K winch in the front bumper.

    Forgot to mention that the camburg uca's were put on along with the fox shocks and ome 2.5" leaf pack.

    What do you guys think?

    Should be starting the front bumper here soon.

    Haven't done much off roading yet but towes a trailer with 2 bikes great! Seems to handle fine down semi ruff dirt roads.

    Went out riding yesterday. Dirt was perfect and it was really nice out. snapped a few pictures of the truck and also took the trailer off and went cruising around a little.

    got 3 of these with 2 mounts for 10 bucks!! Love garage sales. My dads gonna take 1 mount with two gas cans and im gonna take the water can and mount.

    Going to order 2 or 3 digi diodes pods in the next few days for the bumper. will post more pictures soon.

    Anyone done the gauge cluster light swap? is it farely easy? not very good with electical stuff and dont want to mess anything up.

    Also, has anyone found led interior lights for the map and dome lights that work for the 01-04 tacos.

    I don't know about the cluster light swap, but for the Map and dome lights PM CSjumper (the LED guy).
