Looks cool just not in the budget and not really interested in painting it. If I ever did it would probably be a flat maroon or a darker orange

Orange is a little to dark but the red is almost spot on. Like the Ford or dodge maroon. Haha maybe one day when I get bored again. Now I just want to wheel.

Bed bob is done. Screwed up on the 1st coat yesterday with some huge runs so sanded them and resorayed it today. Think it looks good.

Tubing the firewall has to be one of the worst things I've ever done to my truck. So much grinding and hammering and awkward positions lol. Hopefully I cut enough cause I'm not redoing lol. Seal sealed the Crap out of it and hope it was enough. I'll run another bead another day.

    This! :D

It really does suck balls. I'm sure yours will be fine though, and it'll be nice not to have to worry about it anymore.

I have another axle I want to build to get rid of the shims on this one and to redo some of the gussets. the perches on this axle are 1" foward but have the clearance so I'll drill those 1 1/8 or 1 1/4 just for a little more room.

Drove the truck today. Feels like it did on 33s and stock gears lol and gutless compared to my dodge but it drove fine bouncing down the road. Had to swap the locking hubs for the spares I had to use the chromo gears that came with the rcvs. The ifs ones don't let you put the outer c clip on. Also got the box painted and mounted and my highlift mount made and painted today. Got a few things left to do and some small stuff to order then it'll be ready for the Rubicon and sand hollow.

Got tired of working on stuff today so tried practicing tig welding. Stuff ain't easy but was happy to make a bead lol

The high lift mounts I made. One piece of 1/8 in bent with a grade 8 bolt. May redo them with no foot on the bottom so you only habe to drill 2 holes. Thinking of selling these along with cb antenna, light mounts, and may try to come up with a slider adapter for tubing. Let me know if you may be interested. 20170720_161756.jpg 20170720_161752.jpg

Fun times today except for a jeep breaking. Made a sled out of log to help him get down the trail till someone with parts arrived. No pictures yet

Truck did great. Not sure why I didn't bob and high clearance the bed sides earlier. Didn't do anything crazy. Did try the last waterfall. Almost had it but fell off the line and my wheelbase killed me.

Couple more pictures one of the other guys took. The jeep had no business doing the waterfall that I am pictured going up. To tight of an area and to much binding. Dude was on 35s and a d30 front locked. Way to much stress. FB_IMG_1500868071469.jpg FB_IMG_1500868063662.jpg FB_IMG_1500914838070.jpg FB_IMG_1500914841424.jpg FB_IMG_1500868058888.jpg
