Quick trip to big bear today after finding a solid axle industries full float kit with the drive flanges for what I thought was a good deal. Parts are huge... now just waiting on a housing then put it all together and order shafts.

And cycled the front suspension and everything clears after a little grinding..

Check and make sure your wheels fit over the hubs, my buddy built a front 609 with yukon hubs and his wheels donxt fit. Odd.

I took the spare tire on the wheel with me to make sure it fits and got the measurements before I drove all the way there haha. It's close but they slide over it. These are solid axle industries hubs and pretty sure they make them just so guys can run 60 stuff without changing wheels.

Short shake down run with the 39s yesterday. Didnt break anything so that's a plus. Did well considering I barely aired down and no rubbing so I'm happy lol

I need some more stopping power so time for the tundra brakes. Who's got the best deal on them?

What I've found so far. Anyone got anything cheaper or reviews of the two

    Stuff. Also things.
I’ve been super pleased with the Callahan set from Amazon. I’d prefer dimpled rotors rather than drilled, but that’s pretty minor.

When I did my tundra brakes I used all parts house calipers and rotors, worked fine. For brake lines i used extended lines from wheelers or lowrange.

https://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/28226714-post135.html If you havn't seen this already, find (4) 1/8" washers to use as shims to center the calipers. Ran into the same issue of being off centered without them.
Also like slander said, if you don't have braided lines go ahead and grab some. It'll be quicker then drilling the banjo, and will help with pedal feel as the pedal travel is a hair more then stock.

Then this little trick works out great for keeping lines out of the way

Yup springs are key! Mine are hooked to one of the panty liners holes in the fender well and the other end to the bracket thing that comes on the line meant to secure it to the caliper. Works great!

Sounds good. Didnt know about the shims. I have brake lines already but there a little tight on full droop so I may go get some new ones made to accommodate the banjo bolt.

Been using a bungie cord for years on brake lines. Old trick I learned from looking at race cars and my dad lol
