I love seeing an OG taco. I had an original too. 1995.5 model, green, standard cab, 4x4 with a 5speed. I bet it's still out there somewhere. It was a lovely 90s green.

i would offroad more but its pretty much illegal here unless the land owner gives 2 u the permission

no hills much .... just long long stretches of flat ol farmland
    and those can get muddy!

We all have a very capable trucks. Some mods even disable the ability of our stock trucks. Get out and use them. Let the aftermarket comments commence. I have only been Toyotaing for thirty plus years.

1997. You still had the original look (the non flush headlights). I loved it.

I got rid of mine in a divorce. Just now getting back to a Tacoma after all these years. The simplicity of the stick shift, manual locking hubs, "armstrong" manual windows...mad respect for these when I see them on the road. 20-25 years old, some look like they've had the hell beat out of them, and still going strong. Hopefully these new ones are even HALF as good.

and a full set of stripes that have been to quite a few malls across the country in the past 22yrs
its a rarity in my town, not many on the roads that aren't beat to bad or rotted bad

see a ton of 2nd and 3rd gens however, those are popular!

I do wish I had 4wd but mine still might be able to make it up the canyon. I like that it can be muddy and creeks throughout.

I might be able to this week. I haven't been up there in years, but I did just get my Tacoma.
And it just rained a little bit these past 3 days.

I'll go after I visit the mall first.

I'm starting to get that you have a nice piece of land there and a bunch of trucks and animals:) neat! I miss living on a large property.

parking was very limited at nephew's graduation today (small HS)
had to crawl a curb from the street and find a nice patch of grass off the road (drove half a football field to get this close spot)
just a plain old taco hiding like a champ

I live on about 3 acres with 2 dogs, a cat, 3 goats, 11 chickens, and 2 rabbits. I wish those trucks were mine! I've been looking to buy an older Dodge Ram. It has to be a single cab Cummins!

That's what I thought:) I grew up on one acre and it took me half a Saturday to mow the grass and we had an in-ground pool to boot.
    3 acres is quite substantial!
A work buddy of mine bought a Cummins Ram in '94 and he still has his all these years later and loves it.

Really nice truck. Keep your wheels-it seems everybody tends to get rid of those but to me, those particular stock wheels with their offset and finish, are pretty tough-looking and definitely rare nowadays.
