I’ve been curious what my truck would look like with a scoop as well.

 

How's this for a mall crawler lol my buddy dumped stupid amounts of money into this thing

i just took mine off yesterday, figuring wot to do with it
powdercoat or not to powdercoat

 

wot are you going to do?
i can get mine powdercoat black for 45 or so
doesn't seem to be overly weathered
can survive a sandblast job (i think)

 

is that all the further your antenna goes up?

 

local carwash broke my OEM antenna off so I ordered the 6 3/4 inch rubber one off Amazon, I like the look of it

 

i might get one like that if mine ever malfunctions

 

that red does look sharp with the mean looking grille
i can't tell if those are black body molding strips, paint or decals
did it come that way or did you put that on?

 

The black strip near the bottom of the door? That was there when I got the truck. the original decals are very faded

My girl's kid had a buddy years back who had a truck just like yours but in a mean green. That truck is what inspired me to get mine in '01. Those trucks from your era had a unique toughness of their own that was more appealing to me than any American iron
