Man attacked because his generator was too loud

It's after 10pm. I get that there's a huge power outage but if that genny is loud, it's reasonable to ask it be turned off. If the neighbor walked over and asked it to be turned off and it wasn't; he should have gone back home and called the cops.

CA is fucked because so many people want to live here and because people are jam packed in places.

This. When 911 tells you 2 hours for a cop to show. say ok and hang up. Call back in 30 seconds. Tell them don't bother. You and your 45 took care of the problem. Just send a coranor. Cops will be there in 2 minutes.

 

The cops said the genny was fine because of the circumstances. I know first hand gennys can be loud, I turned mine off at 10 in consideration of my neighbor, but some people don't care about their neighbors.

As far as gun laws, crime goes up when gun laws become more strict, and down when more honest citizens obtain them. If the law said everyone over the age of 18 MUST own a gun and ammo for said gun the crime rate would plummet.

 

The biggest problem comes when people are packed together like sardines. Sardines can be a lot of apartment living or living in a development where you see your neighbor's wife taking a shower while you're taking a leak.

But yeah, an armed society is a polite society.

 

Thats sad that when everyone is struggling with no power some retard decides his neighbor is way out of line trying to keep the generator on. Couldn't he have just gone to the other side of the house or put a pillow over his head.

Personally I always sleep better at a cookoff or something like that when there is all that low humming from those generators.

I have to disagree...to a point...

its not when people are packed together, its when inconsiderate people are packed together that it becomes an issue. When you have high and mighty assholes that dont give a rats ass about anyone but themselves, it becomes an issue...

If the one guy had his generator on a 11pm to watch tv or play video games then yea hes an asshole. but for the other guy to think its ok to mess with his generator with no consideration for others property, then hes an asshole...

the problem is too many people with no consideration for others to be packed together like sardines
