Sucks this is my first post after reading and learning so much from you guys. My awesome 16 limited was totaled out. Some jackass stopped in the middle of four lanes and decides to multi-lane change into a parking lot! As you can tell I locked up the breaks and POW!!!!

Fingers crossed, I get what the truck is worth. I am wanting to replace with a new Taco. Maybe even upgrade to a PRO and be able to give true compare and contrast judgments to the WHOLE Get a PRO no get a NON-PRO and upgrade your self-debates. LOL

Thanks yeah. Not sure my friend works at the body shop and said the adjuster came out and said totaled. I have not heard from Geico yet. I'm on the fence. The truck was paid off and I don't want to deal with dealers again. Also, I don't know about resale if they don't total it out...
The guy tried to say Im at fault because he had his blinker on. The cop laughed at him....

#2 I got full value for my 2016 when it was totaled a month or so ago though I did only have 12,000 km on it at the time. Hope insurance takes care of you

Wow, sorry to hear that. Glad your ok. Been through that myself in my 2017 pro. These things hold their value like crazy. Hopefully they total it. If you get a pro, you’ll LOVE the fox suspension! The trd cat-back is cool without being annoying.

    Good Luck!

Major sucks but at least you are OK. A buddy of mine just dealt with the lizard and they wanted to total his out. It was a fight so get a couple of opinions on the total. Also research on what yours is actually worth as we know these have good resale values. Print the comparable's up so you have them when you talk to the adjuster. I am a property adjuster and if you ask 5 adjusters to quote damage you will get 5 different answers
    Good Luck

Did your airbag go off? The few front end accidents I've seen it hasn't. Wondering if it's endemic, I cantc see it in the photo...

Do your own comps and looks for the same model Taco with close to the same miles for sale. That includes dealers. If the insurance company tries to lowball you you will have some info to argue the offer they give.

And NEVER EVER agree to waive any possible injury and NEVER tell the insurance company you feel fine, you will likely feel it in a day or two if you don't now. Good luck!

Modern air bag systems are less likely to deploy than older systems. There has to be a variety of values met before they fire.
