    That's pretty straight forward case for a lawyer, especially if you carry underinsured coverage. It's just the headache of wandering the legal system and checking the boxes that the courts demand. It's daunting if you've never done it before, but unfortunately expected in todays world. I'm typically for pretty limited government and a proponent of markets, but it's obvious that the insurance industry is not well regulated by markets and isn't functioning at any level appropriately, especially healthcare.

    I may may have read.the description of the crash wrong but it sounds like someone unexpectedly stopped on a 4 lane highway and OP rear ended the stopped/stopping car?

    If thats the case then in PA OP would be at fault

    Holy cow! I was pissed when I have a hit and run on the highway get away with dent on the driver door and front fender. I can only image. Suck!

    I understood it as he attempted to turn across one of the multi-lanes that OP was going straight which would have gave him right if way.
