    man U won in '99, but i'm okay with forgetting them since they beat us in the final..that game is actually why i'll always HATE man U. I was a fragile 8 year old watching that and I had my heart broken in the final minutes.

    if you include the european cup, pre- UCL, PSV won in 88, Ajax in the early '72 and Celtic in '67. hence my comment of Italy being the 2nd country to produce 2 treble winners, the first being the Netherlands

    really disappointed in how Ajax played, really underwhelming. not even a glimmer of the spirit and football that got them to the final.
