OMG!!!! Referee once again screwed Liverpool! Goal taken away. Said a deliberate handball which in no way it was. Klopp is furious!!!!!!!! Two games in a row a referee has made terrible decisions against Liverpool. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

 

They don't have VAR in the EPL yet, right?!

 

No they don't. Seriously that was a goal for Solanke. The side judge called it but then the head ref came running in saying it was deliberate handball that deflected into the goal. No way it was. Both commentators stated it was a completely horrible call. It was a goal!

*Edit: Absolute garbage. Match ends in a draw and once again 2 points are stolen from Liverpool by the officials. I wouldn't want to be the one interviewing Klopp after this one...

75 mil for a defender?!

 

players are too inflated these days. the prem is ruining the market, there's no way any of those top 5 defenders are worth the $$. VVD sucks - especially for 75m. for some perspective here....Bayern is reported to have paid <30M (pounds) for Mats Hummels to return to the club. Mats is the best defender in the world imo. VVD, Kyle Walker, Mendy, Stones...no way do these cats have the quality that Hummels(30M), Boateng(13.5M), or Sule(25M) have.

I mean, a player with the quality of James is in Munich for 10M over the course of the 2 year loan with a 30M opportunity to buy at the end... some of these foreign money owned clubs just shell out transfer fees and encourage bad business just cuz they can. Bayern had a 650M+ revenue this year, and you don't see us making stupid buys... our most expensive 2 players are Tolisso and Javi Martinez for right about 40M each.

 

Don't forget to add the FLOP Renato Sanches to that list there. LOL!

That's a tough question... I would say yes because every time needs a good player, and there is no denying that he is good.

 

He's definitely good don't get me wrong. He creates goals and his movement off the ball is top class. I think initially he will be missed but in the long run with the arrival of Naby Keita, I think they will be ok without him. Also a healthy Lallana softens the blow
