Yea I've always liked him. Just couldn't make myself pull for him when he was playing for The Blues. I think he's one of the best and think he will do just fine in the MLS.

 

Agreed, but we'll see. Get the feeling still that MLS is the "cemetery" for big names that can't "hack it" in Europe anymore. Until the MLS signs a big name in his prime, that stereotype won't go away. But what do I know?! Tim Howard might still be in his prime and might contribute a lot not only to the Ralids, but to the league as a whole as well.

WTF happened to the USMNT last night? Sloppy sloppy play. I think that's the worst I've ever seen them play that I can remember.

 

Yeah, what a let down. I didn't see the first goal live, but come on. And just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, that second goal...we made Guatemala look good.

 

Completely different looking USMNT tonight. Which poses the question, why didn't the kraut do the same line up/tactics down there as he did up here? Guatemala is clearly no match for the USA. That first game loss could have really messed up the qualification. Luckily tonight they showed who they really are.

On another note, my Portugal beat Belgium 2-1 with a goal from Nani and another from the best player in the world, CR7! Second half they got one back but by then we had almost completely changed the team. Much better exhibition than the 1-0 loss against Bulgaria. That game was kinda like the USA's first game vs Guatemala. Completely different looking team.

Barça allways get favored by uefa as seen on yesterdays game when niño Torres was red booked with what I thought was not a second yellow card, that's why they won yesterday

 

Didn't watch the game but heard there was a big to do about that. They definitely get benefited more than any other club when it comes to European competitions. Not sure why they cry so much. If anything it should be everyone else complaining about them.
