Big blow that Conte didn't call up Pirlo and really sucks that Verratti is hurt

 

To be honest though, I can see why he didn't call Pirlo. If Verratti was OK he would have taken his place anyway. At some point they have to strat bringing in more youth, to make a good transition and not always fall back on the "old farts". What I don't understand is how Eder is there but not Giovinco. WTF??!! Epic fail right there.

 

Yes they have to bring some youth to the team, but with out Verratti Italy need it Pirlo from my point of view anyways..
Yeah Eder had a terrible send half with Inter and yet he's a stater on the National Team with Giovinco doing great in MLS and Inmobile at the bench

Yeah, I read and heard that on the radio. Sad to hear that, really. There are a lot of quality players in the MLS now that get the short end of the stick because of mentalities like the one Conte has. Oh well.

Looking forward to the Copa America games later as well. Been watching that as much as I can, which is almost all of them.
