How did everyone's team(s) do over the weekend? I'll start.

My team, Sporting Clube De Portugal, was down 1-0 away within the first 10-15 mins, but came back still in the 1st half and held on to a 2-1 win. We're in 3rd place, and were way way off the pace, but thanks to two ties by the two teams in front of us (porto in 2nd and benfica in 1st), we're now only 8 points behind first place. porto and benfica played each other this weekend, drawing 1-1. And both played the weekend before international break and drew their respective games as well. Love it!

Juve tied 1-1, which is not great, but it's not bad either. Still in 1st place.

RMFC won 3-0 with an assist by THE MAN CR7.

So all in all, not a bad weekend.

 

Liverpool did great! Beat Everton 3-1. Chelsea lost, Man U, Arsenal and Man City drew. So....yep...Excellent weekend for football!
It came at a cost though. Mane was injured his knee in the second half. Not sure how bad though.

 

Just what was Ashley Williams doing?! He gifted United a point today in the 94th minute!....so dumb

We have Der Klassiker this weekend so we better get our damn act straight. Still holding 1st in the league though, we need to beat Dortmund saturday. Lewandowski is in stellar form so my hopes are high!

Please be honest here... what are your thoughts on Renato Sanches?

 

he's talented. You can see his youth in his play, but he is very young. I think he has a lot of potential to blossom into a great midfielder. The main issues I see with him are things that can easily be worked through with good management and training. He just needs to move the ball a bit better, he's just a half notch too slow to mesh with the rest of our team right now.

I think Costa, Kimmich, Sanches are going to be huge weapons in a post-Ribery/robben Bayern midfield.

Conclusion: He's young, makes a lot of mistakes, makes bad decisions and needs to work on his vision on the field - concedes possession a lot because of off passes. That said, he has a ton of potential and is in one of the best places to help him grow.

I think we got a bargain, especially since we got him pre-euro. I think he could've been muuuuch more expensive if anyone scooped him after euros

 

Hmmm... not so sure I agree with that, but fair enough. Everyone has their own thoughts and opinions, so you're definitely entitled to it. I just don't see how he justified that kind of fee, considering he only had one "great" season, and from what I have seen from him this season, he's barely played for you.
