cr7 is a hinderance as where in comparison messi is not

one looks for the foul and plays the drama queen, the other charges and avoids acting out on the ground in effort to score

the replay film shows and proves it


like I always say, even the guys sitting on the bench here on any of these teams are unbelievably amazing soccer players...
just messi > cr7 and cr7 is way over rated though albeit I do understand his fans lovingly blind unconditional love

i wouldnt ever really think of CR7 as a hindrance ever, messi either. both are world class in their positions, which are different & people love to compare them straight up.

Off the pitch, it's no question CR7 is the winner. He's an awesome guy.

On the pitch, they play a different role on very different squads. If I were a manager and had to choose between them, that'd be a tough one. CR7 is more of a goal scorer, even though he's been laying off assists more as he ages. Messi is more of a midfield playmaker than an out&out forward, to compare them straight up wouldn't do either of them justice. this is coming from a Bayern & DFB supporter so no bias either way

 

messi is the guy you want on the field, and the kinda guy you wanna be off the field

everyone wants to defend cr7 on the field in fear of hurting his feelings

and off the field, just because cr7 donates his money doesn't mean anything.... ever notice how he announces that he is donating?? ever find it funny that messi does not announce a word every time he donates something??

for what it's worth, i'd rather have a cannon for a leg like CR7 than twinkle toes like messi - but again, that's because of the position i prefer to play. Also CR7 is a single dad - props.

This should be a nice crash course for the us political arena, many could learn from this. Nuno and I have polarizing figures atop of our lists, and in classy fashion we flame on. This is way more constructive than just mum's the word lol

and first and foremost, all players and fans should all be able to go see a match and or play in the match, and be able to go back home safe, it is sad that this type of thing even needs to said and shined light upon. (more so outside of the usa, but increasingly more and more in this country)

@Cativelense I am not in CT as much as I would like, I get stuck on this island more often than not, but I have been keeping an eye on the CT thread though for future meet and greats! If you ever find your way down on long island, we have some great beaches with 4wd access for day trips.
