    It just kinda psycs you out thinking about it. If i hadnt been as aware and attempted gassing to avoid it he probably woulda killed me when he tboned the cab

    Man! That was some force to move a nearly 5000 lb truck that far, 90 degrees (perpendicular) to your path. The only thing that I can see that 'softened the blow' was the fact that while you accelerated to avoid him hitting you continued your turn that most likely aided the resulting spin from the impact slightly deadening the initial blow.

    Yes, I do believe had you not have accelerated you would not have been here posting this!

    I also beleive that since he didnt hit my truck head on that helped i was at an angle from the turn and he might have attempted swerving idk. Thats why my axle is pushed back and to the passenger side, and only his front corner took damage
