I’d try Husky this time around

Yeah the OEM “all weather” floor mats leave a lot to be desired. They are basically just a slightly thicker rubber mat with shallow channels that hold hardly any liquid. Better than a standard mat but nothing special. I tossed my front ones and got Husky’s. Left OEM in the back since it see’s far less use. All in all have liked the Husky’s quite a bit. I’m not MT though if that makes a difference.

I have used both WT and Husky. I like WT slightly better, they are a bit more flexible.

I'm not driving a manual, but I'm not sure how that factors in...

I've had Weathertechs in the past and didn't like how plastic and rigid they were. They seemed to be very slippery too, due to the hardness of the rubber used. I tried Husky's this time around and love them. They're very thick rubber, but still rather flexible and grippy. However, I recommend the X-act fit and NOT the Weatherbeaters. I think the Weatherbeaters are more like Weathertech liners...

    My two cents...

I love the Xact Fits in my 15 but they don’t make the Xact Manual which sucks.

Ahhhh now I see… I had the weather beaters in my old Jeep they were alright but moved around a bit and we’re pretty thin. If this is the case and you can’t get the xact fit I’d probably go weathertech.

Ahhh didn't think of that. Do they (OEM, Weather tech, husky, etc) make floor mats for MTs then??

Yes, there are specific MT mats.

The only reason I go Weathertech is because I have a lead heel and wears a hole in any other mat.

    Check build thread!
This. I had a husky set in my old f150, and I wore a hole threw them in just under 3.5 years and 200k km. Went weathertech this time and they seem to be harder, which seems to be less vulnerable to wear holes.

Yeah, I first bought weathertechs when I wore a hole in two months through the cheap cloth mat on a new car

I need to convince myself of this. Driving barefoot with the ribs poking my heels is a bit annoying.
