My owners manual has three tire sizes listed, the biggest being 265/70/16. Why does the tire sticky say that 265/75/16 is the biggest that will fit on a 2nd gen 4x4? Is it just from experience?

    Thanks,
    Ted

The manual says 265/70/16 because that was the original tire size. Moving up to a 265/75/16 is a popular thing because the tire is a little bigger and it corrects the speedometer. It fits fine.
