2022 Electric Lime Manual (March 2022)
Went to iseecars to do research on my 2021 Tacoma pro manual I just traded in for my wife’s 4runner as I wait for my lime 2022 manual. I punched in the specs with manual came up with 55k market value. Switched to automatic market value of 53k. It makes me wonder if people are going with the rumors that this is the last year of the manual transmission as to why these would now be higher priced since I believe there is close to a 3k difference in msrp. Thoughts? Seems crawl control and the upgraded stereo aren’t as important to some. Betting that the manuals are going more to street drivers than your off-road users?

Obviously the market has changed dramatically since I bought my M/T Taco in April of '20. That was near the start of the Pandemic and at the time Dealers in my area were starving for customers; my Taco had been on their lot for nearly three months when I bought it. As everyone knows, that has now changed.

However when I bought my Taco it was ~$1,500 less then an identical Taco with an Auto. The salesman I dealt with told me it was rare that people requested them, yet at that time mine was one of three they had sold that week where someone had requested a M/T over an Auto.

Fast-forward to today, does that make my Taco more valuable? I'm not sure but am also not too worried about it since I don't plan on selling mine anytime soon.

Bought an off-road loaded manual in 2020 msrp was 43 got it for 39. Traded in on 2021 pro manual got that at msrp in March 2021 At 46k traded in got 51.1k. Dealer listed on website as available next day at 55k. Must have sold it that day as as traded on Saturday and loan showed paid by Wednesday at Toyota finance. Never seen that happen that fast ever.

When I picked up my 21 Pro 6M Feb2021 some dealers wanted as much as $20K over MSRP. I looked at the cheaper auto and held out for the manual. Yes, the auto was cheaper due to availability.
