    Hey guys,

I was wondering if any of y'all swapped those crappy non folding manual mirrors to the taller, folding, power mirrors. On my old truck I had the taller power ones, but on my current taco, I have the manual ones and really prefer the other ones.

    Thanks guys!

I swapped from the small, non-folding manuals to large, folding manuals. Love it. Don't need powered.
If you swap in power ones, I don't know how you would make them powered. Might be a lot of work unless its all pre-wired at the door and console.

That's perfect man. Where did you get your large folding manual ones?

After many trips to the local wreckers (they never had them), I finally ended up getting aftermarket ones from RockAuto.com .
The quality is not up to OEM standards, though, but acceptable. I got K-SOURCE brand (part numbers 70042T and 70041T), about $50 each.

I really appreciate that that helps me out tremendously I think I'll probably go with those too.

How hard was it to swap them out?

    Very easy.
The small triangular-shaped trim piece on the inside of the door just pops out .
Be sure to gently pry FROM THE TOP. If you pry at the bottom, you may break off the lower plastic tab.

On my '99, the mirror was attached with 3 bolts, but the new one attached with 3 nuts. Your 2003 might be different.
