After buying the 2019 TRDOR, I kept my old 2nd gen for a while. It happened few times I shifted to reverse when lights turned green in the 2019 and in to reverse thought it was top gear on the highway in my 2008.

    2023 TRD Sport Premium 6MT
I spent 4 months last summer and Fall (2023) looking for just the right Tacoma 6MT combination: it had to have LED lights, heated seats, leather, and a sunroof. In other words, the advanced tech and premium packages, in a 6MT with lowish miles. In October I struck gold… down in Cleveland, TN there was a Honda dealer selling a 23 TRD Sport 6MT at just 7900 miles with exactly that combination. The truck popped up on their website Saturday afternoon.. on Monday morning I had my son who is a flight instructor, grab an airplane and fly me down from N Va after I called them and told them to SAVE THE TRUCK at all costs. Got down there, took one look and a quick test drive, and she was mine for the paltry sum of $41.5k. Drove it back to Virginia and haven’t stopped smiling since. She’s at 16,000 miles now and boy do I have a blast driving it. Just some slight mods but nothing crazy.. TRD Pro grille, took the white TRD 4x4 Sport stickers off and replaced them with black/red.
And… OF COURSE I did the OTT tune… what a difference!
So glad I got a manual, it makes it so much more fun to drive.
    Gonna keep this thing forever.
