Manual Swap Questions

I have a few questions regarding possibly manual swapping my truck.

i have a 2002 double cab 4x4 automatic that i’d like to manual swap. when looking for a transmission i know id need the R150F manual trans(i think) but my 4x4 system is the electronic transfer case, not the “J” shift style. does that matter with what transmission i’d need?

also if someone that has does the swap with the same electronic transfer case could shed some light on parts and process required, that be great!
