    Hey All,

I used to have a 21 TRD Pro with the AT but lately have been wondering about picking up a TRD OR or TRD PRO in manual spec.

It is quite difficult sometimes to find information about this... But I was curious about the following.

    TRD OR
No Keyless entry/doors open with buttons on key
Is JBL available with the premium pack?
Are the brakes (booster/regulator etc) different from the AUTO due to not having the terrain select ?

    TRD PRO
No Keyless entry/doors open with buttons on key
    Is JBL standard as before?
Are the brakes (booster/regulator etc) different from the AUTO due to not having the terrain select ?

I was curious as I have read that for some reason the JBL doesn't come on the manual trucks.
Are they missing anything else compared to the automatics ? I was annoyed with two things with my Pro, one was the awful auto and the second was the super grabby/non linear brakes.

I think most of your questions can be answered on the Toyota website via the builder, but here is a try at answering the questions I am mostly sure about.

The manual lacks MTS and crawl control, but has A-TRAC which is basically MTS with no adjustability.

Both have the electronically controlled hydraulic brake controller.

The manual lacks hill start assist, but has clutch start cancel.

    The manual lacks remote start.

The brakes are the same on all trims.

    I traded it my 2016 auto SR5 for a 2020 manual OR.

Not completely positive as I have the peasant grade OR with just tech package, but I believe premium added leather, sunroof and JBL.

    More importantly though...

I don’t even have the tech package. I have what I think is the base model 2020 6mt DCSB OR. I don’t think I’m missing much. I wanted the manual transmission, the locker, the off-road traction control, and the a/t tires. The few aesthetic upgrades were a bonus.

I think the tech package added BSM and the rear parking assist? I didn't care, I found an MT OR in the color I wanted without leather! Still wish they'd make me a DCLB MT OR with a sunroof but no leather, but apparently that's asking too much... :D

I have no BSM or rear parking assist. I didn’t choose my color. I think it’s called cement but I just say it’s gray. I felt lucky to find a 6mt on the lot. :)

Oh tech adds BSM, darn I liked that feature. The one I’m considering has leather/moonroof/“premium audio”. No idea what premium audio means …

Pretty sure JBL is the only premium audio offering, and I believe premium adds everything from tech package too

No JBL on MT, and that brake system is only used on OR and Pro (both AT and MT).

There is no current trim or option configuration that will get you a JBL stereo with a MT. You can get the "premium" stereo with the 8" screen in some configurations, but no JBL.

The OR will have everything the PRO has but the lift, 360 cameras, TRD skid plate, TRD Pro badging etc... or the Fox Shocks. As I have the Tech package, the Skid Plate and added the bed lights myself.

Get an OR, and save money for other stuff. Like better tires...

My ‘20 OR with an M/T has the Tech Package. Cloth seats, no moonroof. The brakes do take some getting if you’ve only ever driven vehicles with conventional vacuum-assist systems, but they don’t take too long to get used to.

Mine only has the back-up camera. It’s nice but I could live without it.

BSM, Adaptive CC, lock-in rear diff and rear parking sensors are legit options I enjoy having.
