I have both of the issues. The clutch pedal makes a little squeak when I release it sometimes. Like a lot of people, it seems to be related to the outside temp. This doesn't really bother me. The throwout bearing on the other hand, really is starting to annoy me, as it is getting progressively louder.

I have an older Toyota, 93 model, and my clutch squeaks, but only every now and then.

my 01 ExCab V6 4x4 had a creaking clutch pedal that drove me nuts. never gave any problems though. my stepdad bought it from me 5ys ago with 30k on it. it's got 110k on now and it's still creaking, but it's never gave a min of trouble.

My 05 has squeaked/creaked when the clutch pedal is pushed in and released since 05. I now have 100,000 miles on my truck. Sometimes I can hear the squeak when my window is down.

I bought mine used and it had a faint squeak so I thought no big deal. Everting else was pretty solid. Now a month or so later. Nothing but squeak from the clutch. So I'm calling Toyota this week.

Mine started squeaking at about 10K. Grease or WD would would temporarily fix it. When I had the truck in for the spring TSB the mechanic said there was a TSB on the squeaky clutch, they replace the bushing and all is good.

My 98 had a pedal squeak/creak when pushed in and released and so does my 09. It comes and goes. My 09 has it now and it has been warm and humid out so i think it is warm weather that does it for me. However, it also squeaks in winter when i have the heat on and have it set to blow on the floor.

Reminds me of something I heard once, about how when you used to walk into department stores and all the clothes hangers would creak on the stands... Especially bad at K-mart and Ross and stores like that. You wouldn't hear it unless someone mentions how loud the creaking hangers were... Once someone mentions it, that is all you can hear and it drives you crazy.

    You're welcome:D:D:D.

I have an 08 auto, so no squeak.

I do however sympathize with you as my 96 tacoma clutch petal squeaked. After bringing it in to the dealer 17 times the first year I had it for the squeak (they replaced the clutch, pedal assy etc etc) and the squeak always came back.
After over 400,000kms on the replacement clutch I guess I got used to it.

You would think after 12 years Toyota would have learned from there mistakes, but I guess not.
BTW my 96 also had a TSB for rear springs, 12 years later I had to bring my new truck in for the exact same thing!

Oh, well I still think Toyota makes a good product.

i cant believe that the pedals on the truck are fu**ing plastic and the clutch pedal squeaks when it is hot and only sometimes is loud and other times barely audible. confused  will take to stealership and see what they can do because it is very annoying when cruising around the city with the windows down.

    A bunch of stuff
My pedal squeaks from time to time, sometimes loud sometimes quiet, not too big of a deal. The clutch however (actually the relase bearing that does the squeaking there) has been hell. Had the release bearing replaced 4 times. On the 5th the dealer finally looked into it...after much pushing from me....and ended up replacing the bell housing, clutch, and release bearing. So far it's been good (5000kms), no more queaking.

oh yeah and my trucks goin in on tuesday morning to get the heater fan crickets silenced for the 3rd time.

truck has 89,000kms on it and it's an 08
