My Taco is new, only 1600 miles. My clutch pedal creaks a bit when I release it. But, no squeaks.

Theres a little nut that you gotta tighten ( hand tight is enough ) to get rid of the creak/squeak thing, Ill take pics in the morning to show what to tighten, Its really easy and mine hasnt creaked/squeaked for months now.

Now that it's hot outside, it creaks horrible! Even my wife remarked on how much louder it was...

Funny thing is, as the truck cools it really gets much quieter.

Mine started this about three weeks ago after some very hot weather. At first it seemed like it would go away after pressing the clutch a couple times, but then it started doing it all the time.

I tried tightening that rod as suggested. It didn't seem to tighten, it just kind of freely rotated about 1/4 turn. I put it in one position and ever since the squeak has been gone.

"Ever since" is only about 1.5 weeks though.

ok so i have an 05 4x4 access cab 4 cyl.
clutch was taken into toyota 9 times in last 5 years for squeaks, creaks,moans,etc.... all related to the clutch and it's many moving parts.

After having the clutch pedal assembly, master slave, and multiple shots of grease.i got some improvement, but not permanent.

I have 60 k now, yelled at toyota about how grease ain't gunna cut it and i worked out a deal with them. I got a new clutch, pressure plate resurfaced, new relase bearings and replaced the damn TOB ( i didn't really hear the chirping, it was more like binding on the pivot shaft- which is not alum.- inthe 4 banger-but i complained , grabbed as much documentation as i could and eventually it payed off .

The clutch was not looking abused for 60k, but if something had been wrong that long-- maybe the bad bearings had been causing extra stress on the clutch like uneven wear, and since the tranny was being dropped without labor charges to me i bit the bulletand payed for the new clutch parts only all labor covered. AND NOW BLISS...

I don't have the shudder/ judder in 1st, no squeak from outside the truck, clutch pedal is fine and the truck was so much smoother when using the clutch, it took some getting used to. shifting gears like 1st to 2nd is much improved also. While the 6 speeds have the bellhousing and TOB issues, the 5 speeds- atleast mine- are not perfect from factory.

Not much on the 07 yet. 18 is gone, but was a greata truck. TRD Pro grill, Gator FX3, Homelink mirror, Black out badges & exhaust tip, Remote start. Future TRD exhaust, skid plate.
Mine squeaked. Finally got the dealer to do the tsb. Was a waste if time. Still squeaks. Now I just turn the little cap when is starts squeaking and it stops for a month or so. I can now find it by touch to fix so I have decided to not let it bother me. But Toyota screwed up designing that thing.

Most vehicles I've had have squeaked sooner or later. I usually just get under there with some silycone spray at when i can't take it anymore.

I've tried turning the nut behind the pedal, but it just turns back as soon as you depress the clutch. The creak is getting louder every day.
