    I was going to go 6MT, but had to decide against it as I tow a boat, and need to back it up an incline at my house. Didn’t want to roast the clutch every time I put it away. However, will probably just go 4.88 gears when I can save up enough and call it a day.

    I've owned an 04, 06, 08, now a 16 all manuals. They gave me an automatic as a loaner when I was getting my rear diff replaced and hated it.

    Don't even want to test drive an auto, thank God my GF knows Manual before I did

    My suggestion would be to reclaim your testicles before you do anything else. That should be your first priority.

    Toyota gave me no choice in the matter since they refuse to offer a manual DCLB. The auto transmission is the single biggest regret I have with the truck; but, thankfully, OVtune has come to the rescue to lessen the pain a little...

    Your better half will bring you a lot more happiness in life than a MT. I was in your same boat and purchased the Auto. If your looking for a solution than OVTune might be able to help you. I’m completely happy with the truck now that I have done the latest tune and have all the crawl control and terrain jazz plus a happy wife:thumbsup:
