    I just put down a deposit for a '16 DCSBOR6MT.

My 2013 was totaled when someone decided to cross the double yellow and drive into me head on (apply directly to the forehead?). The '13 was an automatic, which was great at first since I had never owned an automatic before. It was fine for the first 30K or so until the shift points started to get really weird with teh constant TC unlocking and locking every time I took my foot off the gas or accelerated. The dealer threw a new transmission in it under warranty which solved no problems whatsoever.

Thus even though my wife cannot drive manual, this one is a manual. It also doesn't help that everything I've gleaned from my (admittedly) little reading on the 3G shows the automatics to be less than ideal. If I row my own, I cannot have an issue with shift points, right?

I just brought mine home tonight. I really like how it drives, but I'm damn glad that I didn't opt for the long bed. I'm going to have to rearrange my garage. With my rolling tool chests in the front of the garage I only have about 4 inches in front and another 4 in the back. Too close for comfort.

I think that I have the vibration in the steering wheel that everybody is talking about but it really doesn't bother me. My 2004 4Runner has it as well, so it's familiar. To me it just feels normal.

I picked up some grease for the u-joints but ran out of daylight so that will have to happen tomorrow. The only thing I did tonight was pull the plastic storage compartment out from behind the back seat so that I can fit my rifle case back there. I guess I'm just a gun-loving redneck, but I really don't like being without my SHTF gun.

So far, I couldn't be happier.

Several people including myself have. I think it is an uncommon issue.

Your one wouldn't go down in price anymore

I found one in Oregon who did invoice +300, and got me the same truck your dealership was going to get me

Just because you bought from another dealer does not get you out of a cup of coffee sometime...

On the 2016 manual transmission, is the 'transfer case' what holds the 'transmission fluid.' First truck: little confused by some of the terminology.

The transfer case is the 4WH/4WL gear box that sits behind the transmission. It has two shafts coming out of it. One to the rear differential and one to the front differential.

Thank you, Ral. I just checked the transfer case for fluid, then. It was full. I know how to check the rear differential. Does the front differential have easy access to check the fluid?

Nice choice. That spec was my second choice except I am vertically afflicted so moonroof is a no go for me.
