Manual transmission Fan Club and BS thread (All Generations Welcome)

since my early days in cars i've been looking for ways to stiffen up the chassis and mounts where it makes sense and where there's a return from the effort. if there's any chance of you snapping some pics with a bit of description when you do this then I, and likely quite a few others, would be very appreciative. of course some folks don't like the trouble, so thanks if you're able.

 

When I get to it I will gladly do a full write up on it. It is something I have done on many different mounts in the past. Some times makes vibrations worse but works well. One of the best Cummins mods you can make. If y'all have one of those.

Every manual I've ever owned has had a certain amount of flex and give. I haven't noticed anything abnormal about this rig. Maybe that's why I've never noticed it. But it does bump, nothing concerning just something normal.

 

Kind of my thoughts but would like to firm up the mount some.

not much to add but hey, i got the call today after putting down my initial deposit 3 months ago. truck at the port tomorrow, and most likely in my hands next week.

he tells me this is the actual first MT Pro being delivered in the gulf states. could that be true? does anyone else know of a '17 Pro MT in the gulf states?
