Yes, typical for it to act slow or even stuck to floor. Fluid gets thick

I wonder if you guys who are getting bad mileage should reset the system by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and when you do drive it try to make sure you drive it hard. I picked up mytruck with 5 mile and drove it 1460 miles that same day. I made sure to run it up hard when getting onto the freeway and a few times I made sure to pass truckers at high speed. I also let off the gas from 90mph back down to 65mph a few times so the computer had a full range of driving modes. The truck surged the first few times, like it was correcting for timing but now its getting better gas mileage and doesnt surge. Just a thought.

See my build page for all my additional weight on my truck...before I added all that stuff I was averaging 18-18.5 (hand calculated ) now with all that weight I will get 16 to 17 at 70-75 and 18 to19 if I keep it under 60.

Considering that the truck was rated for 17-20 a change to 16-19 is not that bad considering the amount of weight and drag I have added.

The computer tells me I average between 16-19 depending on the type of driving I'm doing that week. But the individual trip MPG that it calculates after each trip is usually around 20 MPG or more. I think the tank calculation gets skewed easily because I have been sitting in the truck with it idling quite a bit lately while I learn and play around with all the features.

I have seen a few manuals near me, but I was holding out for a very specific one. DCSB Sport M/T in blazing blue pearl. I actually found a '16 in September about an hour from me that matched, but I wasn't quite ready to pull the trigger. It was gone a month later when I was ready. I looked at every dealer within 2 hours of my location, but no one had just what I was looking for. I happened to be traveling over Thanksgiving 1.5 hours away. I drove by a dealer I didn't know was there and they just happened to have the exact truck I'd been looking for. It was fresh off the truck and not even set up yet or on the website. I went back the next day and bought it.

M/T's are certainly harder to find, but I don't think they're as scare as people make them out to be. I was really picky about what I was looking for and there were two that exactly matched within two months and less than 2 hours away. I could have easily had one before then if I didn't care about color or access vs double cab.

I had to put in a request for mine and waited. I says request because I wasn't really able to buy the truck I wanted but found one that had everything except the orange piping on the seats. After seeing my truck in person I wish I had requested the lighter gray interior, the black is going to be a bitch to keep clean.:D
