Sooo jealous of the twin stick set up. Fucking electronic shift. I just know it's going to cost me in the future.

I've got a little over 1700 miles on mine now, and everything about the truck suddenly seems smoother, especially the transmission/clutch.

Excellent, mine broke 800 miles yesterday. I'm waiting to see if 2nd and 3rd gear will slide in a little smoother.

You gotta get used to it. 22k and 1 year of ownership and it still 'sticks' when trying to go into it. Make sure you're at a complete stop. If it doesn't go let the clutch out in neutral and then try again. It'll go. My Civic Si was the same way.

Had my truck 1 year and two days now. 22k miles and going up always. Love this truck. No issues besides the rear diff howling. Today's my birthday and I'm taking a half day at work. Got my kayak and fishing poles in the bed and going to the lake around noon.

What is this howl. Only thing I hear in the truck is a small bit of wind noise and the exhaust drone.

Yeah. This is my 5th M/T Toyota truck and the '17 requires a lower speed to slide into 1st. Almost to a full stop. The plus side is I don't roll thru stop signs as often as I used to.

i noticed that too, on two occasions though I'm certain I was completely stopped and the shifter slid into 1st partially only for me to grind it a little when letting the clutch out which made me want to cry! I hope I'm not killing my transmission prematurely.
