Just curious about which RAM? 1500 or HD?

I thought I heard something about an MT with the ecodiesel. But then, I also heard that there might be trouble brewing with that motor?

Nissan used to offer their 6MT with 4WD in the Crew Cab Long Bed. Between 2005 -2009 I believe.

I went online to "Build a Frontier pro-4x" and they are still offering the 6spd as an option for 2018 according to their site. Not sure how hard they are to come by or if you can actually custom order them from the dealer though.. Idk.. ive never really had much interest in them besides that its like the one truck I know that's still offered with a manual that's midsize. Does anyone know if the new ford rangers are offered with a MT?

I have been curious if the Ranger and or the Jeep Pickups Ups will have a manual option too.

The jeep is the one that I would have seriously considered.

From what I've read on Jalopnik (who troll the jeep forums), the Jeep pick up will only have auto and the 3.0 diesel or gas V6.

    OA

EDIT: Just kidding my research shows the diesel won't be paired with the manual. Word is still out on the 3.6 gas V6 JT. I remember writing it off when the manual wasn't getting paired with the diesel.

There was serious worry that the 2018 Wrangler wasn't going to get one. Outcry from fans saved the day.

I did, but just like Tacos, used ones are pricey and I wanted a bit more storage room.

The SWB drove better than I expected after all the complaining that I heard.

38,500 miles on my 2016 Taco - How come my clutch pedal does not squeak? I had it happen in my 2010. Clay

Must be one of the lucky ones! Mine squeaks like crazy since 8K miles and just keeps on doing it, cuz I’m just not bothered enough to lube those pivot points yet. I reckon I better do it soon before the dry spots cause a bigger problem. Thanks for the reminder!

The GT350 isn't available with an automatic. Your only choice is a manual. Got one in the garage and I love it!

I think I finally heard a GT350 on Monday. Definitely didn't sound like a Coyote V8 or an Ecoboost, but wayy better.

Anything special you had to do to get them to replace the pedal assembly? Did they replace it with all OEM? I'm taking mine in Friday for its 15K service and having them look at the clutch while its in, and would like to get the problem resolved completely rather than do a dozen laps around the retard pond.

If someone brings a drop in replacement pedal assembly to market, they can take my money.

No I simply scheduled to drop it off at the dealer and said it was creaking and gets worse the longer I drove. No other questions asked. I assume it's OEM because it was at the dealer... I only expected them to replace the spring so I was surprised they did all that. No problems now, other than the awful tuning.

I towed my Toyota MR2 Turbo powered Sandrail over winding hills to a friend's house to weld a broken shock mount. I estimate about 3500 lbs total. My TRD Pro MT really towed nicely. I was very happy with the performance. I realize this is a relatively light load, but still, it really was a great experience.

I've talked about the powerband on this truck sort of reminding me of an old two stroke motorcycle. Some people don't like that "jumpiness" when it hits 3300 or so (I happen to enjoy it) What I found great about towing with this thing today was that it sort of smoothed out that torque surge. I had great power to accelerate from a stop. I also found 4th gear to be an excellent gear to leave it in unless the road got really steep or winding. I kept it in that 3000-4000 rpm range and just flew through the hills. I would imagine the automatic would annoy the hell out of me if it kept trying to shift me out of that excellent torque band. Mind you, I didn't set any MPG records on the trip. Still, I'm loving this truck even more now that I've towed with it!
