I dont think those are street legal are they? Think I read that they were not much bigger than a 4 Wheeler but cool nonetheless.

They're copies of the old Willy's Jeep, but with a Turbo-Diesel. Also, while they aren't technically street legal everywhere, they're light to tow and I think classified as side-by-sides, so some communities may let them on the roads anyway. I seem to recall some states allowing ATV and UTV use for local stuff.

Yeah. Move to Arizona. Mount a class 3 Nade launcher on it. No one cares.

What if you "resto-modded" an old CJ2 by swapping the tubs? I think Indiana would let me register it as street legal, they don't check anything. Hell, I was in Indiana for Christmas and some dude went through the drive-through in an old Ford 8N.

I've ridden in Mahindra "jeeps" in India, Sikkim and Bhutan. Super common, seem to be a newer version of the '42 Ford Jeep I had. Lights, turn signals, heater/defroster, seat belts...just smaller than the CJ5's that are highly revered around here.

Does anybody else look at other cars in the parking lot just to see if it's a manual or not and then become disappointed when it's an auto

This is me. I always feel disappointment when I see an automatic in an otherwise perfect car or truck.

Lol yes on my walk to work from the train station I always look in the cars I pass by. Though it's usually less disappointment when it's an auto, and more excitement when it's a manual. "Ooo, they make that car with a stick. The shifter looks real good there."

    My list is small.

    00 WS6
    08 Taco.

Learned on an early first gen Ranger.

Really hope a true manual never dies out. Tap shift or anything similar doesn't cut it.

When a car pops up for sale in a feed the tranny is the very first thing I check. If it's an auto... I briskly move along. At car shows it's pretty much the same thing.
