That looks pretty close to the 2.5in dia ball that @7r41lbr34k3r made me. I like that grey color.

Not sure. Some kind of hard resin. Feels like a pool ball in the hand. And about the same size, but maybe slightly bigger.

Manual all the way...had to special order my 2016 just for the stick! My first baby, a 1999, started the trend. Not sure what I will drive once everything goes to an auto...

It does. Not super heavy but has decent mass. I thought about adding some lead inside of it but have not done it yet.

I'm thinking about biting the bullet on it. Did you just use a grommet to secure the boot?

Simple answer? Keep the Taco forever. That's my plan.

Yep. Installed the grommet 30k miles ago and it has not moved. Looks fine as well.

Get a last yr mfg mt and pack with peanut styrofoam pellets will liberal amounts of silica gel packets...in a sealed shipping container. With a 10 pack of 10mm sockets.

    Now THATS a plan...>mine<

Dunno about black but the grey is definitely too light. It would have matched the light stone grey interior of my 2007 perfectly but the graphite color in these trucks now is quite a bit darker. Something about the color of the radio surround trim would be good IMO.

Either way, it's close enough that it's not an eyesore.

Good plan, but mine is to drive the wheels off of it. Then I'll go into electric darkness with something like the Bollinger.

I might as well keep researching since it's not an emergency. $56 is too much to drop without being 100% sold

I will drive this one til the wheels fall off, THEN pull out the 25 yr old brand new 202x MT...and drive IT till the wheels fall off or we hit Mad Max territory...all while making you drool for 25 yrs. that will buy me time to figure out what a Bollinger is!

    Gauntlet thrown good sir!
