I did not elaborate much because I was using the same company’s product on a different application. If this product is as good as the one I had it is hands down better than any of the available alternatives. My expectations lean to that being the case.

Nope. Just plugging along with the update. Still not great but have been spending my play money on a new long range rifle set up. Then it will be a bumper then some kings.

Loosing the stock rubber damped shift shaft stick definetly adds some good old school sounds and feel. I ran an older RA60F with an all steel shifter shaft, and plan to do something with the RC62F in my 19.

So I’ve got a 2ng gen 2.7 4x4 and I just ordered the URD short shifter. From what I can tell it’s made an improvement but has anyone found some cons??

Any of you convert your HKey to a push to start? And get crazy and add proximity lock/unlock? Looking for ideas that are out there. I’ve seen one or two, but curious what has worked for you.

This morning i could not push the clutch pedal in at all. Any one know a remedy for the problem? It does that only at start ups. After idling for a bit its fine. Been doing this for a week now.

But no, there’s no true solution out there. Some guys say the accumulator delete mod on the 3rd gens helps slightly but that’s it. Every MT I’ve had has that same problem, just happens that the Tacoma is the stiffest.

Please tell us about this 3rd gen hkey nonsense. I never liked the idea of a push to start on a manual. But it would be nice for this cold winter.

He was talking about a push button start system instead of a turn key start system, not a remote start system.

There is a remote start system available for H-key MT Tacomas though if that's what you're looking for.

further customization was the whole idea, because i use a custom knob at a custom height, requiring either an extension or an arm of the proper length out of the box. so i bought the unit the other night and promptly got a bunch of stress from vendor since i was asking questions about the customization and what may be required. end of the day he said my length requirements do not fit anything pre-made and the thread specs do not allow for an extension. and then he canceled my order.

are there any other options at this hardware level for us? because this one is off the table for me.

Yikes! The question that I wanted to ask, and you might have, can we just get the base core without a shaft and ball? Because I know a (busy) guy that might be able to accommodate the rest?
