Other low temps greases will separate and drip. Depending, you could get anything from stains on your clothes to goo on the pedal surface. Good marine grease would probably be okay, but brake grease is proven solution. I bought a jar for other future uses.

Is the warranty period 36,000 miles/ 3 year? Dealer in SC said i had to pay up to get mine fixed @ 19k/2.5 years now.

    Good question then!

It is a free mod if you dremel the accumulator. It will function exactly the same as any other ADM method. @m1awolk did it in 10min on a lift.

They screwed you. It would have been the same on the older TSB.

yes but you still must deal with the dealers' bs. they are required to send back faulty parts, so they want to be sure to duplicate the symptoms to get their own credit back. getting them to duplicate the symptoms satisfactorily may be a challenge.

Mine has been bad, extremely loud, can feel in the pedal easily. I planned to pull it all out and fix myself but now I'll let them.

i would do it if it's zero cash. the FJ all metal swap @tonered mentioned above is actually less money in parts. but it's in pieces and you or someone else will need to do the labor.

    You're welcome!

You could take a copy of the TSB in. But at this point, I would probably use a dealer that gives you a better feel?

Fuck. All varieties were around $15 here. At O'Reilly's.

Still better than being potentially frustrated at the dealer.

That was the first time at that dealer I ever had an issue with. Even then I didn't have the time to get fixed. I'm in ga now so I'll just deal with it until I get the time before warranty is up.
