Good to know on the ACDelco stuff. One fluid I’ve been interested to try is Nissan MTF. It is 75W-85 however it was like pure freakin magic in the Nissan trans. Funny how so many differences can be had just by the various fluids on the market. I’ll keep the AC Delco stuff in mind to possibly try next time.

Willing to bet the OE stuff "sucks" because its the "break in" fluid. Just a thought, I reserve the right to be wrong.

Personally not a fan of GM stuff, (which is what AC Delco is). But hey, if it works for you, then right on! I love seeing everyone's different approaches and results.

I'd be interested in that too. Maybe. I ran Redline in my 95 Pathfinder and man..... That transmission hit 300,000 and was still shifting buttery smooth. Original clutch too.

My man has arrived :fistbump: running amsoil in my MT Sport in everything but the T case. Stuff just works.

If you care to poke around, there are literally hundreds of reports (probably many thousands) regarding the efficacy of ACDelco Synchromesh Friction Modified over all other comers, Honda MTF, Redline, Scamzoil, you name it. Regarding GM proper, not a fan, that said, even GM gets things really right from time to time.

The fact that you call it scamzoil (remember, there are hundreds if not thousands of reports regarding the efficacy of the product) tells me that you're just a wee bit sus

Lol. But hey, opinions man, everyone has them. It's always fun to see who's running what... And who blew up first :bananadead:

Yup, hundreds of thousands who drank the Kool-Aid. Amsoil is an MLM company which publicizes very misleading information about their products; for both reasons I dub them "Scamzoil". Products from a company with such a low ethical standard will be products I will avoid, even if they are demonstrably the best in the world (something this company will never achieve).

More misleading than other oil companies?
    No.
    Low ethical standards? Really?
Of course not. There is nothing unethical about Amsoil. You are free to use what you want but if you just post lies then expect some feedback.
PLUS: Why even bring it up in such a nasty way in a technical forum?

Like on one hand I'm kind of intrigued about what you're saying just to know where you're coming from. On the other hand... I've literally never seen anything that says they're any better or worse than other companies. What I do know is there's a plethora of TW members who use their products with great results. And I've had nothing but excellent customer service from both them and their reps.

So... Since this is the internet, tell us what you know. And we'll have us a good old-fashioned logical debate with facts and no emotional opinions whatsoever. :D

I only use it during tax season, so it will be a few months out.
