Moral of the story; it took having a Tacoma for him to get the wife prego…

With that task accomplished he can then go back to Ford ownership…

    - just reporting the stated facts…

A little bit of this, and a little bit of that.
Those are the facts that were stated. However you choose to interpret it, you are correct ;)

I'm guessing you didn't read the original post; the Tacoma is identified as a TRD Off Road. :)

Right but all of half a second would tell us that it's a pro, so.... 46 with that low mileage ain't bad at all, considering the markup extravaganza going on right now

Did a fly and drive the 19th & picked this up in Bellevue. Enjoyed the drive back to Southern California. Stayed few nights with friend in Oregon & camped in Northern California.
    Bought from dealer at MSRP
Has few extras I wouldn’t have purchased if I had the choice but I’ll enjoy using them.

Anybody got some info or video on how to change the factory shift knob on a manual TRD pro?

Unclip the chrome trim ring from the bottom of the knob by twisting it approx 1/4 turn. (I forget what direction) Twist knob off in a counter clockwise rotation. It's pretty simple and straightforward.

Oh I thought it was a bit more involved than that.

Nope. Twist quarter turn, it'll unclip, pull the boot down a tiny bit (it's super easy) untwist knob. Insert new knob, twist it, pull it, bop it (!), Flick it, shift it.

If anyone is looking for a manual Pro, Bell Road Toyota in Phoenix has one at the low low price of just $73,000.

Yes, and if you live in a no sales tax state, you still do not pay sales tax even if you buy in a state that has it. I bought in Idaho, but live in Alaska, so did not pay Idaho sales tax.

Only true sometimes; try buying a new vehicle in California and taking it out of state.

I'm new to this thread (and obviously haven't posted much). The threads on my shift knob are toast. Anyone with suggestions on a replacement?

Aftermarket or new stock. Pretty easy to solve.

    I did the TRD knob...
