You'd think an electronically-boosted system would be easier to add hill hold to.

That and manual trucks not having automatic keyless entry or JBL sound...for reasons.

There's literally no reason they couldnt have, other than the truck plants can't keep up with demand so adding more configurations might slow them down?

Those complaining about the lack of hill start forget about having a proper hand brake, right by your (you're never gonna guess) right hand. Super easy to use. Had to do it a couple times so far.

Oh man, I love my wife's Subie for the keyless entry, but the push start completely negates the feeling. I feel cool, and then I feel lame.

Always feel cool turning a key.

Really makes me wonder if they are gong to hamstring the 4th gen MTs too. If I remember from that preview they did in Hawaii, at least they'll have the pushbutton start now.

But... why? To me, convenience is cool. Not having to worry about digging a key out of my pocket all the time is the ultimate cool.

I really miss the keyless stuff I had on my 2021. But, I knew what I was getting into with my '22 6MT. I prefer the better gearing and no shuddering on the '22 though, so it's a warsh...

Pics or it didn't happen :D

Know what's not cool? Not being able to lean in to a car and crank it while it's on the rack. Instead we gotta climb in and press the brake and push the button.

    And

Getting cars in and out of accessory mode for a myriad of services is annoying AF with push buttons. Keys are better for that.

Then.... My 2017 push button with one touch entry and lock is a godsend with me being a single dad and having to cart the little one (and her stuff) around lol

Push buttons can be started without the brake. Just got to hold the button down for 10+ seconds and it'll start.

You can also put a push button into accessory mode by just tapping it without your foot on the brake.

Gonna try that tomorrow and report back

Correct. But sometimes they get finicky depending on how long they've been there and sometimes they want to turn off before turning on all the way. Lol

Yea, I'm not 100% sure on the time, but just hold it down for a while and it'll start

I've driven cars that use both a key AND a push button to start. So where's your god now?
