That is pretty much the same thing I was told by all the dealers in my area. I could have gotten 2500 off of a automatic off road or sport, but only 700 off of any manual. I ended up with only 700 off msrp because I fell in love with a truck that would not have stayed on there lot another day. They got me, but I got the truck I wanted. So I don't think its that bad a deal if its what u want and its close.. If u are willing to travel, there are deals to be had on manuals in certain parts of the country.

Pretty good deal. That's about what I paid for mine without the $1500 Premium Tech Package. I think that price included TT+L on mine, though. You still paid less!

I wish I could claim credit for the idea that the body needs balance, LOL, but go ahead and tell others it is my idea. I would appreciate that.

The clutch takes significantly more muscle. The brake and accelerator pale in comparison. (You never noticed that? You DO drive a stick, right? You're not just trolling to attempt to make people think you're cool? Can you please post a pic of the interior of your vehicle?) But alas, it is more the right arm effort that is truly significant as that tugs on the neck and back asymmetrically, which are already damaged from programming.

I just picked up one of these myself in black as well. What's the reason for the rubber washer?

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
I mean around 6k miles 5th gear started grinding. Its been to Toyota a number of times. They have never been able to replicate it, except when i was iut if state. Then they said it would get a new trans, and i didn't have time to leave it. So they opened a toyota case. Got home and they can't find it so they opened another, but asked me to go to the local dealer. I refused because i have been there half a dozen times for this and they suck.

It really was frustrating because i generally run 5th on the highway when towing, and it really has gotten worse.

Now with over 15k its really getting bad in the other gears. As soon as I am done with my 85, which i am doing a quick resto on I am driving somewhere and dropping this thing off at a Toyota dealer until its fixed.

I have always had manuals and never had problems, except an eclipse i had with transmissions made of glass.

My previous 6spd manual tacoma was almost twice this old when i traded it in and had none of these issues.

If they don't make it right I will fix it myself, i love my truck but i have a sour taste for Toyota southeast and the dealers here at this point.

I had this happen when on towing road trips with my 2013. Never did find the problem and never had any other problems with it. It was weird!

I get the same creak/squeak with my pedal on hot days too. Annoying as hell, but a quick application of gun grease where the plunger and plastic pedal arm make contact fixes it for a few months at a time.

Gotcha. I've got 24k on mine and it's something that's never gone away. I considered taking into Toyota for a while when it first started happening since pretty much a few weeks after I drove it off the lot, but figure the less the dealership touches my truck, the better of it'll be. Though that's not a bad idea setting yourself up for the bushing I keep hearing about.

My 2008, 2013 and now my 2015 all have a horrid clutch pedal design. Plastic.

Seriously some things shouldn't be cheaper.

lol, you have no idea! The first time I crawled up under there to see if I could diagnose the creak myself and discovered that the clutch pedal arm was a giant plastic monstrosity, I remember literally thinking to myself, "what fuck is this shit?!"
