The toyota techs bled the system once in an attempt to fix but it did not work.

Will do. They will either figure out the issue, or I will get a new clutch before the warranty goes away. Like I said, it is drive able just annoying and not correct.

Only vehicles I have ever owned are Toyotas and stick shift. I rarely let anyone drive my manual......which is a great deterrent in itself.

Nooooo... I was plagued with a sticky clutch in my 350Z but it happened at extremely high temperatures. 100* F outside in stop go traffic, or when I race it. Replaced master and slave cylinders, flushed and filled with motul rbf600, and replaced the entire clutch pedal assembly with an aftermarket one to eliminate the OEM helper spring before I got it to a point I was satisfied.

Seems strange this would happen at cold temperatures... Any chance the fluid is freezing?

Also, if you don't mind can you take a picture of the clutch pedal in the cab? I'm most interested in the assembly that is behind the pedal. Is the return spring linear?

Can you guys take a picture of your door jam Axle code for me? I'm trying to figure out why the ratio reads 3.9 (B06A) when we should all have 4.3 gears with the MT

I have the same axle code, but Toyota is pretty notorious for not sticking to legacy axle codes and a rollout is the only way to know for sure. More importantly though, while we're on the subject of door stickers, where did my fucking 10 lbs load capacity go?

Ordered my 3rd Gen in November still not here yet the dealership offered me a 2k more discount if I would take the auto off the lot told him no thanks. Extra 2k and a 3 month wait more than worth it to have a manual. People are way too lazy now a days and I will not apologize even once for wanting total control over my truck. Let the left foot live on!

Nice. Thanks for taking the pics. It appears to be linear with that single spring but it's hard to know for certain without watching it actuate.

That piston looking thing is most likely the master cylinder. Doesn't look like its leaking. Like others have said the slave cylinder might be worth looking into, I'm not sure where it is on a 3rd gen but in some cars they are exposed to the elements directly, in others they are sealed within the transmission.

Keep us posted on what the dealer says. Best of luck to you.

I want a manual soo bad,i remember when i was 16 driving my uncles 4-banger toyota pick-up,yes the ones that rusted the next day. It was a blast. I had a 2008 Tacoma auto and kept shifting it even with an automatic. I knew this wasnt good but kept finding myself doing it. I was going to order my new 2016 with a M/T last week. But after seeing that it had a Sport shift 6-speed, i decided that it would give me the best of both worlds. I hope it does, truck isn't here yet. I also have had a knee surgery and most recent spinal surgery,so i better get the automatic. Getting old has its ups and downs, thats for sure. Love to borrow a M/T for the weekend!! Any Takers?

If mine comes in without the 4.30 ratio I am going to be very displeased to say the least... Especially with the decreased ring gear size that the B=8.0" 06=3.9:1 A=2 pinion carrier in the gear code indicates opposed to the advertised 8.75" 4.30:1.

If I got the math right. It will be a couple days before I get back to drive it, but I think mine is the 4.30 even tho the door sticker says 3.90.
    4.30 at 60MPH @2000 RPM
    3.90 at 60MPH @1830 RPM
