Manual Transmission Oil Leak

    Anything I can do to stop this leak without changing the gasket to my manual transmission. Its not a crazy leak but it drives me crazy.

    Ugggghhh sorry to hear this. This is one of THE worst leaks to have in the truck. There really is no other way to "band-aid" that leak and in order to fix it you have to drop the entire tranny.

    I had a leak as well, I checked the fluid level in the tranny and when I pulled the plug on flat ground fluid came gushing out. According to guidebook the fluid should be level with the plug so whoever had the truck before me way overfilled it. It has a used motor in it so I'm guessing they filled the tranny while it was out of the pickup. I think my leak has stopped now but I haven't checked in a while.
