I actually have a few empty Amsolil bags that I use for the diffs, so when it's empty and pour the Redline in the bag and it's a breeze that way too,
    Bags are soo easy

Brilliant! Definitely going to save my satchels.

From Amsoil customer service in response to my question about difference between SVG and MT products: "The difference the sulfur content is higher on the SVG product and it may or may not meet the spec for some vehicles."

Thats funny cause I did the same thing with my front/rear diff and transfer case.

I also have easier and cheaper access to amsoil than MT-90

Did my oil change today, added 60,000 since my last change,
Those amsoil bags make the diffs and transmission a breeze

Loosen the fill plug before you take the drain plug off. You don't want to drain the transmission only to discover that your fill plug is seized on or stripped.

Once the fill plug is loose, remove the drain plug and let the old oil drain out.

Put drain plug back in, take fill plug off completely and pump new oil into it. Once it starts to dribble out of the fill plug, it's full. Screw the fill plug back in and you're done.

There are crush washers on the fill/drain plugs, it's good practice to replace those but not exactly a necessity, unless they are destroyed.

Same exact procedure for the differentials and transfer case.

I like to remove the transmission shifter and pour the fluid in from the top so I don't have to pump or funnel it into the side

I’ve heard of this theory, what does that entail just unscrewing the shifter knob or do I have to remove the consul? My truck is lifted high. It’s very easy to get underneath… where to find drain-fill plugs
