Like I said, not everything you see happens to everyone. There's a video of a 3rd gen on fire too, does that mean they're all catching on fire?

Nobody wants to read a thread that says "Drove my truck again today and absolutely nothing out of the ordinary happened again, truck performed flawessly." I'll bet hundreds of owners are having the same experiences as I am. Nobody cares when the truck runs perfectly, everyone wants to know about the problems so you get the same people posting the same things in multiple threads.

I've had 100+ days just like that, nothing has happened the truck runs fine.

I wish there was no issue or on the 8th I would be in a new Tacoma...the only reason for this is if there is a issue Toyota needs to know, who knows how many even bothered to call Toyota corporate. Hell I didn't know they existed so I called for info, also to help the these guys with problems...

    Mostly stuff I built.
Buy the truck if you want it and like it... If it has an issue take it back for a warranty repair. 60 month 60k power train warranty on any thing that touches oil.
Some sticking synchronizers on the RC62F is a lot better than the nose cone for the throw out bearing breaking off the housing like the RA60F.

Did you have a problem getting out of the gear you were in, or getting into the gear you were trying to shift to?

About halfway back 200 miles or so taking out of gear to downshift it was like not pushing clutch in to try to get out of gear
