No money, all went to truck...
Love it! Got lunar rock TRD OR MT 2 years ago. Ordered in October and waited till February. Was an easy transaction and also got a good rate.
    3 more years of payments!

Yours obviously has more goodies but I love my truck!!

Another Lunar Rock MT checking in, love mine, also flew 800 miles to get it. Also stuck with just under 3 years of payments left, ($13,600 to go!). I thought I’d be bored of it by now (I trade out frequently) but still am engaged by it.

Dang! There were only 2 6MT Pro's available anywhere when I found mine and it just happened to be same state about 100 miles away. No markup. A couple add ons I didn't want but it was only a few hundred total (door edge guards, bed lights, mud flaps).

Wow! I can't believe mine was in production when I found it available.

Mine was sitting at port in Mexico waiting for a boat when my dealership sent it to me. It wasn't even on their website yet.

After a 14 month battle with Ford I needed a win and Toyota provided.

I searched for 8 months for my MT Tacoma with all the features I wanted. Finally picked up a 2022 a week ago with only 10k in pristine condition. God I love 6-speed, it just makes driving fun again. Now if I could just bring my 84 Supra back.

Thank you, it was not first choice initially, but when I saw the trail editions come out with the bronze wheels, I was sold! These scs wheels are a dark bronze, but have metal flake in them and look really good when the light hits them!20230516_081250.jpg

I have a 2023 manual transmission, purchased 7/20/23. With that said, I did a 500 mile search from me on 2024s and it seems like a better amount of MT are being allocated for build. Or maybe it seems like that because builds just started?

Are they TRD Off Roads or just SR and SR5's. Wondering if there are more proportionally right now since they are releasing more base models in the beginning?

There hasn't been an SR5 manual since 2015, and 2024 will be the first Manual SR since 2017.

I think that article is incorrect, pretty sure that number was for Corolla's, the last TFL Video I watched said 6 percent of Tacoma's were manual.

Quote is from the second and third paragraphs here: https://www.motor1.com/news/704830/2023-toyota-gr-corolla-sales/

"Toyota initially said it planned to build 6,500 US-market GR Corollas for the 2023 model year, but it seems to have fallen a bit short, with the automaker confirming it's sold 5,739 for both model-year 2023 and 2024. Perhaps a result of lingering supply-chain issues, rather than low demand.

Per figures Toyota provided to Motor1, GR Corolla was the most popular manual Toyota model in the US, just pipping the GR86's 5,317 manual sales. Additionally, Toyota sold 3,287 manual Tacomas and 1,140 manual Supras."

I don't have any reason to not trust those numbers.

Might be the price and crazy dealer mark ups might be why they didn’t sell as many Corolla GRs as they thought they would. They are cool little cars, but it is still a Corolla *yawn*

Me too, but I was late to the party.
If I had ordered in June, I could have gotten one.
As it turned out, I started calling around for that plain Jane and finally found it... with an AT.

My new 2023 marks the end of my 60 year love affair with manual transmissions.
I decided to also keep my 1991 SR5, so it ain't entirely gone yet.

Back in early 2022 the "professional" prognosticators were predicting the 2022 model year was going to be the last year of the third generation Tacoma, and hence, the end of Tacoma availability with three pedals under the dash. With this in mind I put a deposit down on a fully tarted out TRD Sport 6MT in February of that year, got an allocation for a unit which matched my requirements (exactly except my second choice on paint color), it was built in September and I took delivery in October.

2017 was the last year you could buy an SR with a Manual, however for 2024 they brought it back but double cab only.
