I was just joking. I've driven mostly automatics, but went with the MT on my Taco only because I think it's more fun to drive.

Thanks for the chuckles this morning.

Guess that depends, the only time I am ok with two sticks is when it's mine and my trucks, other than that, I don't need any other stick to get the job done.

It is the new style 2017 Pro Knob not the old cue ball style.

Yep that is it, looks so much better than that factory double ball looking thing.

Ya, I am not a fan of the factory knob.

I'd like to get one of those, but I would want it to be black with white numbers.

No, I pulled off the stock sport shift knob and put on the Grey TRD cue-ball. It has no clip on the bottom to attach the boot, hence the need for the grommet...

When it comes to shift knobs, you can pretty much get anything you want...

That is exactly what I was thinking. Where do I find one of those?

Yes! That is EXACTLY what I want. Does the other knob just unscrew?

Yes. The boot is unscrewed and pops off the stock shifter. Then the shifter unscrews as well. The knob usually has a nut and then screws back onto the shift lever.

I'm really close to working a trade to get the exact truck I have now but in a manual. Negative trade equity will mean my current payments towards the truck will be gone, but not much else. Should I do it?
