Manual Window Getting Stuck or Doesn't Roll All the Way Down?

    Here's the culprit:


    You've got the door tensioner aligned with the window guide inside the door. Most of the time the tensioner gently caresses lovingly against the guide, until it doesn't. Then it just bends the living hell out of the window guide, causing the window to either: A.) require gorilla strength to roll the window down, or B.) window won't go down more than a few inches.

    I finally had to take out the window guide and bend it back into shape. I also removed the door tensioner and used a Dremel to remove a bit of metal. Reshaping the end of the tensioner did the trick.

    I would MUCH rather have manual windows than power windows any day but I'm stuck with what I have, just waiting for the day when they die.
