I'd appreciate instructions for replacing my manual window regulator as it seems something simple enough that I could do.
I just bought a 2013 Tacoma with the driver side manual window regulator possibly broken. The crank is off, which is nice. I was unable to crank it with a vise grip. I watched a video for removing the driver door panel of a 2008 Tacoma which seems similar to removing the door panel of my 2013. I also watched a video for removing an automatic window regulator from a driver side door (of unknown year) which gave me a clue about the process. Will removing mine be pretty much the same? Any special instructions or cautions? Thanks

    Hi Cosmo!
I mean a two seat cab rather than a four seater.

    Pull the door panel off.
    Take a look.
There been some with bolts that have backed out.
Some have had the actual clips that hold the glass break. Hopefully that’s not what you find.
Some guys have had the door get slammed open and bent the window channel.

I’d inspect the window assembly before you buy any parts.
