$6500 for only 70-90hp seems hardly worth it.

I just put a $299 Pedal Commander in my truck and it's a helluva lot nicer to drive now. No need for a supercharger.

$6500 for 70 HP? I put a rotex C-38 in my 2liter scion and got more HP than that. It’s just a pickup truck.

It is cool. The problem is, the trucks have enough power stock, but people complain, so vendors give more power, then people complain. It’s the people that are the issue. Watch......fellas here will install this supercharger then start an “MPG sucks” thread. The basic laws of thermodynamics are not well understood on TW. It’s a “something for nothing” crowd.

Myself, I’m surprised Magnusson can get any more HP from this engine with the complexity of its nannies. Also, I am surprised they can machine and supply the supercharger for $6500. Small batch machining of high tolerance items ain’t cheap.

Honestly I think the trucks have plenty of power... it's just horribly calibrated from Toyota.

I cannot stress enough... how much nicer mine is to drive since installing the stupid pedal commander.

I thought it was a bit gimmicky... but figured I'd try it... and no shit, it really works and makes the truck so much easier to drive.

Only waiting for URD to show some numbers now, already better at 5k vs 6.5k.

And you know URD will eventually offer more than one stage.

Bear in mind that’s 70 hp with that huge stock size pulley. I’m sure that thing can get a lot more with a smaller one and 100% sure people will buy them. I don’t know why, but I’m looking forward to watching them do it!

A 340hp Tacoma would be badass but I'm planning on 200k out if this beast.

I bought the supercharger in my FJ cruiser so I could feel like Lone Wolf McQuaid.

And in case some desperados bury me in my truck.

All that it requires is one cold beer... Half sipped, Half poured on head.

I'm sure you can make more hp by changing the pulley size but that when things may go boom.

Can OP @Bigc2029 please edit the title of this goddam thread. Something about “Manuson” creeps me out. Like, how would that be pronounced? Manewson?

In one video they mentioned they put a pretty big pulley in it and has a good range if you want to go smaller. Seems like they took that into account at least to some level
